Our rapidly growing company is looking for a motivated business development officer to develop and implement growth strategies for the achievement of revenue goals. The candidates should have the knowledge of real estate. Successful applicants should be team players who not only understand how to identify a new market opportunity, but also know what it takes to lead a team forward and realise that opportunity. We’re especially looking for someone with great communication skills, as you’ll be expected to interact with shareholders, executives and clients on a daily basis.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the business development officer will be tasked with:

  • Creating market strategies for the business
  • Developing new products and services to meet the needs of existing clients
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with business stakeholders, including developers, family officers and institutions
  • Conducting periodic market research and analysis
  • Implementing strategies to minimise operating costs and increase profits
  • Training other business development staff in the organisation
  • Develop and deliver pitches for potential investors.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, accounting or related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience working in a business role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Great leadership skills.
  • A strong desire to see results
